Sydney :)

Hi everyone,
So I have just returned from Sydney.. I went over on Friday the 10th and flew back this morning. I had such a wonderful time :D I spent the whole wkend with my other half; Kieran. Friday night we looked around town and then climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge which was absolutely AMAZING. We started climbing at around 8pm so we got the sun set on the way up to the top and on the way down we got all the night city lights!!

On Saturday it was my 20th birthday. I woke up to presents from Kieran.. I got the new Britney Spears perfume 'Radiance' (which smells so good!) We then went to the Sydney Aquarium and went on the Skywalk at Sydney Tower. And we then shopped for the afternoon.

Saturday night Kieran treated me to tea at Darling Harbour which was lovely, we had dinner right on the harbour and then later on there were fireworks which just made my day :D Afterwards we went to a local pub and had a cocktail and then went to bed as we had done SO MUCH walking over the whole day.

Sunday we woke up, had breakfast and then made our way to Bondi Beach.. It was so busy there as the weather was hot! People were everywhere!! We took a walk on the beach and then we to look at the Bondi Markets and other shops. After that we made our way back into town and we went to Paddy's Markets, which was HUGE!

Then that night we just got Thai for tea which we ate in our hotel room as we were both very tired as we had such a busy wkend!!
I had such a wonderful time all wkend. The weather was beautiful and everything we were able to do was an exciting experience!

Bargin Hunting

hey guys!
so while Sarah is in Sydney with her boyfriend for the weekend, and i'm all lonely in Adelaide, i thought it would be fun to check out an Op shop i had heard about. It's called Savers and is amazing! the store is huge and stocks all types of vintage and current trends. i heard about it from a friend of mine who is religously into fashion and scrumages through sale bins and op shops all the time and she rated this one of her faves, so i had to see what the fuss was about.
so it was all i imagined and there was 10 to 20 rows and racks full of clothes, shoes and bags..i love it. i was a kid in a candy store and high waisted skirts and jeans were my candy. i managed to find a fab high waisted skirt and a vintage 90's summer dress.
This is them before i got my sewing machine on them;

and then i altered the skirt by cutting it to thigh length and hemming, i altered the dress by also cutting it shorter to thigh length and cutting off the plain navy sleeve and making it a one shoulder dress. i also added a shoulder pad to the other side to give it a better shape...

now i'm all set for NYE outfits!

Early Christmas Present

So i was shopping online last night, trying to get some ideas for christmas presents and i had a look on the Victoria Secret website. As summer is coming up and you can never have too many bathers i came across this amazing pair of black cut outs. So as a gift to myself i decided to buy them, i cannot wait for them to arrive and try them out at the beach the next day its hot. :)

Judge for yourself but i think their pretty cheeky!!!

Hi everyone, I am Sarah.

Im 19 although I turn 20 in 12 sleeps (not that I'm counting :p).. I'm about to start studying my Diploma of Children Services aka Childcare and eventually later on down the track I want to study my Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, maybe..

I enjoy most things. I love my friends and family. I love to travel, not that I have been anywhere out of Australia but I do plan to one day (hopefully soon :D).. I like to shop, but hey what girl doesn't and also playing around with make up, fashion and what not..

I love chick flicks but dont mind the occasional  action.. but I hate horror films..

Summer is my favourite season but this year it seems it is going to be arriving a little later ;(
